Real holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke, a degree in Management from McGill University and an M.B.A. from HEC Montréal.

After working for several pharmaceutical companies, he joined SiliCycle in 2019 as plant manager, then became general manager of PurCann Pharma in 2022.
