Sommelier, Cultivation specialist & Product Manager at PurCann Pharma, Jose Dominguez has developed the products that have made MoodRing and PanHash two recognized and appreciated brands by Canadian consumers. In charge of developing, testing and approving the quality of all products and raw materials, his role as Sommelier takes on its full importance when it comes to “quality” and customer satisfaction. He works closely with the R&D department, marketing, production but also with the growers.

Jose Dominguez has been a legal grower and supplier to MMAR and ACMPR for over 20 years and has become a reference in terms of cultivation, processing, phenotyping and quality not only in Canada but also internationally. After earning the title of most awarded Canadian private grower in 2016 (44 Cannabis Cup award), he co-founded one of the first licensed growers in Canada in 2017. Selected from 25,000 applicants in 2019 to earn the title of Cannabis Sommelier, Jose joins the ranks of processing and marketing to continue and complement his expertise in the Canadian recreational market.

Since 2022, Jose has been a cannabis sommelier and product manager for PurCann Pharma.
